This beautiful bird followed my husband around, when we were visiting one of the pavilions of the amazing Toronto Zoo. There was something magical about how persistently she followed him. This was around the time we had just moved to Toronto and this bird may very well have been one of the first locals to make me feel really welcome.

  1. Beautiful and we had a bird that did something similar to us on our honeymoon in the Bahamas. The bird showed up each morning while we would sit out on our patio eating breakfast. So can totally relate!!🙂

  2. Wow- how close did you get to take the photo?!

  3. Julie DeNeen says:

    Oh, he’s so prettty!

  4. Dana says:

Why do I feel like he’s giving me the evil eye? I’m amazed he stayed still long enough for a photo!

😀 I do believe in the evil eye, but this one was a cutie! Not only did he stay long enough, but kept following us, it’s almost like he was posing!

  5. Alison says:

    Beautiful! Did you name him?🙂
